Pottery to Ceramics Revolution

The world is evolving everyday.Modernisation is engulfing the entire planet. As a result ,businesses ventures are all undergoing daily changes. Goods and services (products) are improving day by day. And pottery products are no exception to these changes.Perhaps,ceramics has gradually taken over the market.

Ceramics in contemporary times, has almost taken over the market and it even comes with so many  attractive designs. But I ask with all seriousness that  has ceramics taken over from pttery?And if so,will pottery go into extinction in ten to fifteen years from now?

Your guess will be as good as mine.However,in spite of everything that potters are going through and the business for that matter, the businessmen and women are at least still trying to be in business although ceramics is all over the place.

I know however that there are some hotels that are still using pottery products for their decorations. This is proved in the video. I pray that perhaps hotels will also patronize the products in order to renew the business. Having said that, it is equally significant that pottery products are given a new and attractive look-rebranding to promote competition.

This way, there could be a competition which would increase productivity of the two but same business. I trust that there is still enough space for the pottery business in the near future; that is if the space is made for it.

 

Pottery in The Plant World

There has been a significant shift in terms of the uses of pottery from perhaps hundred years ago ,ten years ago and now;pottery was used for cooking,eating and storage of water.Now it’s use for decorations and for plant growth:not limiting their uses to above mentioned uses though. 

A wide range of pottery products across the earth are made for plant growth. Apparently, plants do well in pot products.

Over the past few years, young plants are taken from their usual polythenes and other containers and placed into small and medium pot products. Every plant provided it can grow in these products, they are put there to germinate and grow.

Interestingly, this trend is gradually becoming normality. These days, the plant community has widely used the pots such that the pots are made to suit that  purpose.

Again, these plants which are in most occasions for sale, looks good and more presentable when they are in our modern pottery designs. These plants are attractive for  purchasing since the pottery products gives them a different outlook and appearance such that the seller and buyer  are all confident.
